Well, I can now say from experience downsizing is truly a principal of Feng Shui.  Feng Shui is about energy flow and when we get rid of all the unnecessary stuff nothing is in the way for that flow to happen.

I’ve been getting so many responses to this collection of notes but I’m wondering has anyone been inspired to do Feng Shui themselves?

I’ve recently moved from Sedona, AZ to Santa Barbara, CA.  I’ve moved from a 1066 square foot house to a 300 square foot studio.  And it is so surprising how comfortable and easy living in a tiny space can be.  And even with the mere area of 300 square feet one can feel spacious and clear and easy.

I have to confess I still haven’t done all the cures I need to do outside my studio.  I live on a hill and I have to glue some tiny mirrors in a way that will slow down the traffic on the slope.  I am giving extra care to a huge hibiscus plant at my entrance that hasn’t been cared for in years.

And I’ll be putting my crystals and gemstones outside in the corners of the property so all who live there benefit.

Feng Shui Best to All

Wishing all the Lovers of Feng Shui could come to the workshop at the Mii Amo Spa in Sedona, Az August 15, 16, and 17.  It’s my favorite thing.  The Mii Amo property is all  Feng Shui-ed and we tour around studying all the cures.

We all have habits that are destructive that we repeat over and over.  Like postponement which I wrote about in my last post,  such as unhealthy eating habits, worry,  life-limiting fears, etc.  Keeping your wisdom corners clear with something blue there is a message that you’re open to receiving the wisdom to move forward in life.  You can also write this as a message and put it in a red envelope placing it in the wisdom corner.

For myself, whenever I want to try something new there is the hump to get over, the fear of the unknown.  I may wait and wait.  And then I jump.  There is a wisdom in knowing the right timing.  However,  if we never recognize the right timing, we’ve missed.

I’m writing about this because I find people might book a Feng Shui Consultation but find it hard to get started doing the cures.  When starting the cures for your home or business first put the corresponding gemstones in the main corners or the house, apartment, or office.  If you are a procrastinator you could put an extra big blue gemstone in your wisdom corner as this would help in learning about timing. If you want extra help getting pregnant or keeping your pregnancy to term, I’m going to list Feng Shui cures that help with that. Do them all or just choose the ones you feel most drawn too.

1. Put two chopsticks tied together with a red ribbon in the relationship corner of the bedroom. Chopsticks in Chinese also mean fast baby.
2. Buy a new piece of china pottery or porcelain as children are related to the earth element.
3. Place metal elephant near the family room wall in the master bedroom. Rub the elephant’s head for good fertility luck.
4. Don’t put any fertility symbols in the bathroom and keep toilet seats down drains covered.
5. Hang a picture of 100 children in the house. Since this would be hard to find. Hang a picture of some children and write the number 100 o
6. Pink adventure and carnelian are good gemstones for fertility. Keep them around you or carry one in your left pocket.
